Privacy Policy
This privacy policy covers the personal software tools built and operated by Charlene Christie ("the tools"), including Char's Pin Scheduler and similar tools used to prepare and schedule content for her own e-commerce businesses and content channels.
Who the tools are for
The tools are used only by their developer, Charlene Christie, to manage her own content and her own business and social media accounts. They are not offered as a product or service to any other person, and they do not collect information from the public or from any third party.
What the tools access
When connected to an account on a platform such as Pinterest, a tool reads that account's boards, pins, or posts in order to display them and show publishing status, and it creates, schedules, or publishes content to that account at the developer's direction. Each tool acts only on accounts the developer personally owns and has explicitly connected.
How data is stored
All data used by the tools — including API keys, platform access tokens, generated images, written copy, and drafts — is stored locally on the developer's own computer. None of it is transmitted to, or stored on, any server operated by the developer. There is no shared database and no user accounts.
Third-party services
To function, the tools send content the developer creates to third-party services, each governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy:
- OpenAI — generating images and written copy
- fal.ai — generating video from images
- Pinterest and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) — publishing and scheduling content to the developer's own accounts
Access tokens for these services are issued to the developer for the developer's own accounts and are stored only on the developer's computer.
Data sharing
No data is sold, rented, or shared with anyone. Because the tools operate only on the developer's own accounts and data, there is no third-party user data involved.
Data retention and deletion
Because all data is stored locally, the developer can delete it at any time by removing the relevant files from her computer or by revoking the tool's access from within each platform's settings.
Changes to this policy
If the tools change in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
